Replace

I’m going to be direct
It’s not seductive nor particularly creative
But it’s a process I need to get comfortable with.

For years I have been moving around from place to place
Trying to find my place
In a place that doesn’t feel my own.

Being put in place
but never really placing first.

Sharing a place
I’ve become commonplace.
A commodity.

When do you replace?

I’m finding my own space
Solace in my own skin
Putting myself first
Meeting ecaF-to-Face

How do you retrace?

You disengage.
You look at little faces, and
trust that;
the outcome is not yours to decide
But yours to embrace.

That is the space
where you will find your place.
